The house and its surroundings

We have 3 donkeys Galipette, Cokia and Nolly born in May 2023. Heifers and cows are in the surrounding meadows from spring to autumn.

You will be able to discover the vegetable garden in natural culture and associated plants, aromatic plants, wild plants edible or not. Aromatic herbs are available at your discretion.

We encourage biodiversity.

There are many birds, and we are a LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) Refuge, and other wild animals can be seen too. You can discover the nesting boxes and, depending on the season, see the chicks being fed by their parents or flying away.

From the house you can go for a walk through the meadows, through the woods or along the small roads and paths.

There is a playground in the village.

We will lend you binoculars if you wish to observe the local birds in the garden and in the meadows.

Two mountain bikes and 3 pairs of snowshoes with walking sticks are available.

We will be happy to point you in the direction of local walks or further afield such as the Vosges Saônoises, the magnificent Plateau des 1000 Étangs and other places. Leaflets and hiking maps are available.

You can also cycle from the house or further afield. We can advise you on the loops to be made and also create some with you according to your desires.

It is possible to swim in the river Ognon in Longevelle, 15 minutes from the house.

Nolly meets the heifers in the neighbouring pasture at the end of July. Tender moments!
